Xuechen Chen is a Policy Associate in Geopolitics and International Relations. She is also Assistant Professor in Politics & International Relations at Northeastern University London and a Visiting Research Fellow at the London Asia-Pacific Centre for Social Science, King's College London. She is also an Affiliate Faculty member in the Department of Political Science in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at at Northeastern, Boston (2023-2026). She received her PhD in European Studies at King's College London and her MSc in European Studies at London School of Economics. Her research interests include EU external relations with the Asia-Pacific region, China’s foreign policy, regional integration in East Asia, and norm diffusion in international politics.
